The particular location (Vaadhoo Island) has a concentrated population of bioluminescent phytoplankton. Bioluminescence is a natural chemical reaction which occurs when a micro-organism in the water reacts with oxygen. When washed ashore by the tides, the phytoplankton’s chemical energy is turned into light energy, illuminating the waves. (source)

Here’s just a very quick rundown of looks from the mens and chicks runways Fall 2013 that incorporated a version of YvesKleinBlue.
Carven, Chanel (okay only on a print here and there, but also on the wigs!), Costume National, Emanuel Ungaro, En Noir, Just Cavalli, Kimberly Ovitz, Lacoste, Marc by MJ, Mugler, Paul Smith, Roland Mouret, Sportmax, Valentino and Victoria Beckham all got on the bandwagon in one form or another.
